School of Nursing and Allied Health
In response to the growing demand for skilled health care professionals, the Ferrum College School of Nursing and Allied Health produces the next generation of compassionate caregivers and health care leaders, shining as a beacon of hope in its community. Within the School of Nursing and Allied Health, the nursing program accepts students as freshmen in order to onramp them quickly to the profession. To date, two classes of Bachelor of Science in Nursing students have joined the many Ferrum graduates who have gone on to become pharmacists, Physician Assistants (PAs) and other allied health professionals. With a focus in hands-on training, the School offers an enriched learning community for the next generation of health care professionals communities so desperately need.
