Ferrum College offers a hands-on experiential learning environment few other colleges can match. Our students work hard and are eager and curious at their core. Approximately 99% of our students on campus receive financial aid. A high percentage of Ferrum College students are the first in their families to attend college. Many of our students work 30-40 hours a week while attending school full-time. Many are also student-athletes with demanding practice and travel schedules. They have determination that often exceeds their resources. When you support the Ferrum Fund, the unrestricted nature of the fund allows Ferrum College to respond to the areas of greatest need and in the moments of opportunity for our students.
The Ferrum Fund relies on annual donations to keep it strong and at a level sufficient to meet the needs of our students and campus.
