STANLEY LIBRARY
About the Library
Stanley Library is the intellectual nerve center of Ferrum College, comprising of the three floors designed to give our students a variety of learning spaces. The 21st Century Learning Center is the first floor of the library and houses our Learning Engagement and Practice (LEaP) Gaming Studio, our mobile Green Screen Room and our Reading Room. The second floor houses the entire print collection along with our Learning Commons study area. The lower level of the library belongs to the Carter Center for Academic Success. Our collection offers books, journals, newspapers, DVDs, AV equipment, research workshops, study areas and community engagement to our patrons.
Mission Statement
Stanley Library encourages inclusive learning, supports the dissemination of knowledge through a welcoming environment, and fosters a creative suite where ideas among every member of the Ferrum Community, campus, and town, can blossom.
Vision Statement
Stanley Library will be a creative, intellectual, welcoming space where all members of the Ferrum community can learn, connect, and grow.

We encourage adventure and wonder in all we do, on campus and off.
Stewardship
We recognize that we are stewards of this campus and community, its resources and its people, as such we strive to make our collections, programs and spaces accessible to all our needs, both current and future.
