ACH (Automatic Clearing House) or Wire Transfers
A simplified process for gifting a fund or account is through wire transfer or ACH. ACH is preferable to help Ferrum avoid a wire transfer fee. The routing and account numbers for transfers will gladly be sent to you upon request to advancement@ferrum.edu or (540) 365-4211.
matching gifts
Please contact the Advancement Office to determine your employer’s eligibility for gift matching. If eligible, obtain and complete a matching gift form from your employer and return the form to the College together with your personal contribution. Please note that your company will not match your gift until you have made your contribution and sent in your completed form.
Arthur Society Member Spotlight: David Garten ’98
“You are not only getting a unique college experience, but you also get an education that is as applicable to the classroom as it is to life,” he adds. “You’re in close proximity at a small school [and must] figure out how to get along with others who might be different than you. That’s what life is about, and that experience is something that is unique to Ferrum.”
