We are heartbroken by the tragedy in Uvalde, Texas. This community joins countless others across the country in being devastated by sudden and senseless violence. In addition to offering support and words of comfort to families who are suffering unspeakable grief, may we commit ourselves to taking concrete steps to address violence in its many forms and bring healing to our world. Every victim of this mass killing deserves nothing less from us.
