FERRUM, VA, February 25, 2025 – On Wednesday, February 26, Ferrum College will present “Exploring Cultural Diversity: Argentina and the World Beyond” for this week’s Inquiring Minds program.
The Inquiring Minds series offers lively, informal presentations and activities on various interesting topics for the entire community. Stanley Library at Ferrum College presents the series, which takes place in the LEaP Studio during the campus’s Community Hour from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The presenters are Sabrina Brutomeso, a Fulbright scholar from Argentina teaching Spanish at Ferrum this year, and Diana de los Angeles, a Fulbright FLTA (Foreign Language Teaching Assistant) from Argentina teaching at Hollins University in Roanoke.
During this presentation, you will be immersed in how cultural diversity shapes our world through the lens of Argentina. From the cosmopolitan energy of the city of Buenos Aires to the traditions and heritage of the province of Chaco, this program will explore how regions within the same country can be unique. This session will inspire you to embrace the adventure of studying and working abroad, where you will immerse yourself in new perspectives, languages, and cultures.
