FERRUM, VA, September 15, 2025 — Ferrum College proudly celebrated its 2025 Sports Hall of Fame class on Saturday, September 13, honoring nine former student-athletes whose accomplishments reflect the College’s tradition of athletic excellence and community leadership.
The day began with the morning Sports Hall of Fame Ceremony on campus, where inductees were recognized for their achievements and impact both at Ferrum College and beyond. Later, the new Hall of Famers were honored at halftime during the Panthers’ home football game against Shaw University at W.B. Adams Stadium.
“At Ferrum College, we honor not only athletic achievements but also the lasting influence our alumni have in their professions and communities. The 2025 Sports Hall of Fame class embodies the true spirit of a Panther—driven, compassionate, and dedicated to living our motto, Not Self, But Others. It is a privilege to celebrate their legacies and welcome them home,” said Ferrum College President Mirta Martin.
