We proudly champion everyone who supports Ferrum College’s continued success by recognizing donors who make gifts during our fiscal year (July 1- June 30). We invite you to consider some unique ways our most dedicated donors are recognized at Ferrum College.
Named after the college’s seventh president, Reverend Dr. C. Ralph Arthur, a visionary who inspired others to embrace the Ferrum mission to serve students in need and helped transform the College.
The Arthur Society recognizes alumni, parents, and friends who contribute at least $1,000 in outright gifts to the College over the fiscal year. For recent graduates, we celebrate your early leadership by honoring students or alumni up to four years since graduation whose annual giving reaches $250 or more and alumni from five to nine years since graduation whose annual giving reaches $500 or more. Two circles of membership within the society are celebrated:
President’s Circle—$5,000 and up
Leadership Circle—$1,000-4,999
This society recognizes Ferrum’s founding more than 100 years ago and celebrates individuals and organizations that have given $100,000 or more in outright (cash or equivalent) gifts. Members of the 1913 Society are among the most dedicated supporters of Ferrum College year after year, and their gifts substantially impact the College’s ability to thrive now and in the future.
Named after the college’s first president, Dr. Benjamin Beckham, whose vision and actions laid the future of the College, the Beckham Society is an expression of appreciation to those individuals who provide for future generations at Ferrum College. Beckham Society members have affirmed our College’s motto, “Not Self, but Others,” by establishing planned gifts that benefit the College. These include bequests, charitable trusts, life insurance policies, gift annuities, or other deferred gift arrangements.
For over 50 years, the Panther Club has supported Ferrum athletics and the transformative impact that athletics has on many of our students. With your support, Ferrum Athletics can build on its proud history by providing opportunities that enhance the student-athlete experience with numerous benefits for students and fans alike, such as leadership programming, advanced technology for game streaming, and upgrades to our athletic areas. Your membership and benefits include the pride of knowing you have contributed to the success of Ferrum athletics and our student-athletes!
