For donors who wish to invest and make a lasting impact on Ferrum College, a gift to an existing endowment or to create a new endowment fund can be an ongoing way to enhance financial aid and academic programs as well as the beauty and upkeep of campus.
Gifts to the endowment are invested into a pooled fund and earn interest on the principal amount. The donors of endowed funds define the purpose they wish to support through the annual payout from the fund’s investment. Donors can support existing endowments or establish new endowments.
