Friday Science Seminar: Adventures in the Galapagos with Dr. Bob Pohlad

Professor Emeritus Bob Pohlad will present “Adventures in the Galapagos” at the Friday science seminar on August 28. All are welcome to attend for free.

Location: Garber Hall 106, Ferrum College (enter from Hart Plaza or in side door by the lake, or near greenhouse and walk through the lower floor of Garber).

In December of 2025, Dr. Pohlad traveled with a goup of Ferrum College faculty, staff, and friends through the Galapagos Islands off the coast of Ecuador. He will summarize their travel adventure with photos and stories of this amazing group of islands filled with unique animals and plants.
