Dr. Ryan R. Cooper is the Director of Graduate Psychology and is an Assistant Professor at Ferrum College. His clinical practice has focused on neuropsychological evaluation and the treatment of personality disorders. His research and teaching interests include forensic evaluation, personality development, and interdisciplinary integration of law and mental healthcare. He has held faculty appointments in psychology, directed graduate training programs, and served on multiple statewide leadership boards. His legal scholarship includes advanced training in mediation and international dispute resolution, with academic affiliations in both psychology and law. He has also conducted research in the areas of healthcare policy and prescriptive authority for medically trained psychologists.
