Courtney Brown was born and raised in Lynchburg, Va. Her family originates from Franklin County, Va., and she currently resides in Rocky Mount, Va. She enjoys music, hiking, and reading in her spare time. Courtney has worked at Ferrum College since 2006. She currently serves the institution by working in the President’s Office, where she enjoys collaborating with the president, Board of Trustees, and the entire campus community as they guide the College through strategic steps to sustain a long-term vision and fulfill its mission.
