Offering over 25 different workshops, Special Virginia & Appalachian Tune Workshops, Nightly Jam Sessions, a Dulcimer Orchestra, and Evening Concerts; the Crooked Road Dulcimer Festival is one of the best values of its kind!

Since 2012, the Crooked Road Dulcimer Festival has been one of the Blue Ridge Institute’s major annual events. As the State Center for Blue Ridge Folklore as well as a Major Venue on the Crooked Road: Virginia’s Heritage Music Trail, the Blue Ridge Institute of Ferrum College provides the perfect setting for an annual gathering of dulcimer players.
2022 CRDF COVID-19 Vaccination Policy
All attendees for the 2022 Crooked Road Dulcimer Festival are required to be fully vaccinated as a term and condition of their presence at the Festival. Attendees are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after completing the vaccination series. (This includes two weeks after the second dose of a two-dose series or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine). All attendees are required to report their vaccination status and provide proof of vaccination. Attendees must provide truthful and accurate information about their COVID-19 vaccination status, and, if applicable, their testing results. Attendees not in compliance with this policy will be subject to ejection from the event without compensation or refund.
