Christopher “Chris” Whitlow served as Franklin County, Virginia’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – County Administrator for over seven years. He previously worked as the Economic Development Administrator for the City of Roanoke, Virginia, where he provided professional support to the City Council and Industrial Development Authority. He has over thirty-three years of local government experience in Virginia, having also worked in various planning and community development positions for Bridgewater, Rocky Mount, and the City of Martinsville. Mr. Whitlow has also studied and worked internationally, in an exchange program with various local governments in New Zealand.
