Renew your support each academic year to receive your Panther Club benefits.
Panther Club includes annual giving to Ferrum College Athletics. Membership includes benefits for the academic year in which the gift was made. Any gift to Ferrum College Athletics will count toward Panther Club membership.
*Membership in the Panther Club may include benefits with a fair market value (FMV). In accordance with IRS regulations, the FMV of the benefits must be subtracted from the contribution to determine the tax-deductible portion of the gift. This chart indicates the benefits and FMVs. The donor may choose to waive the benefits in order to maximize the impact of the gift and tax deductibility.
Note: In accordance with IRS regulations, Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) and foundation grants may not be used to make gifts resulting in benefits with a fair market value. Giving from such funds is allowed if the benefits are waived.
**Non-endowment gifts will be for immediate use by the sport of your choosing. Gifts to the Athletics Endowment Fund will exist in perpetuity with earnings supporting needs across all sports as determined by the Vice President for Athletics and in compliance with NCAA policies.
The Iron Panthers Society provides recognition for cumulative lifetime support of $100,000 and up to Ferrum College Athletics. As a lifetime giving society, all gifts to Athletics accumulate for lifetime giving totals used to determine membership. Members also receive benefits from the College-wide giving societies.
