Test of Emergency Alert System

A test of the Ferrum College Emergency Alert System, including the campus siren, Ferrum e2campus text message alerts, campus emails, etc, will be conducted on campus Thursday, September 18. The campus siren will sound for approximately one minute. Should the siren sound longer than one minute, it should be considered a real emergency and you should follow information as it is provided to you.

Be prepared for emergencies on campus

If this were a real emergency, more information would be found here at this page (http://www.ferrum.edu/emergency/), and mirrored on the Ferrum Emergency Blog. The purpose of this blog is to stand in for our on-campus servers in the event that they are not functioning or disabled due to a power outage. If there is an emergency or alert on campus and you cannot connect to the Ferrum homepage or other sites under the Ferrum domain, please check the Ferrum Emergency Blog for more information. Take this opportunity to bookmark the Emergency Blog so you can return to it quickly in the event of an emergency.

Check your Ferrum e2campus account

Please use this opportunity to sign up for Ferrum e2campus text alerts if you have not already. Also, remember that Ferrum e2campus accounts automatically expire after two years. If you think your account may have expired, please log in to your account.

In the event of an emergency, you will be notified via the following:
