Teacher Education “students in focus”: We’d like to introduce Madison Coleman, Liberal Arts major, Elementary Education minor, Class of 2021: Madison chose elementary education because she loves the ways that a teacher can connect with students: “I hope to show my students that I value learning through the power of teaching. The teachers I have had in the past inspired me to become an educator, and I hope that I can inspire someone one day, too. I also love the teacher education professors’ passion for education and that they have such a good understanding of how to teach rising teachers.” Madison’s future goal is to pursue a career in special education.
