Of course we miss the hustle and bustle of students rushing across campus and preparing for the new academic year.  I would, however, like to take a moment to reflect upon progress made during this past year. We have so much to be grateful for and so much to be excited about! And one of those things is you! What better time than this to thank you for your participation through your volunteer leadership, your participation in College activities, and your financial contributions in support of the Ferrum mission.

In graduation ceremonies in May, we conferred degrees on 200 students who completed their academic work at the College. It was a pleasure to celebrate their achievements and welcome them officially to the ranks of our alumni. 

The momentum on the Ferrum College campus is palpable. Every week you will find fresh news stories on the homepage. We are so proud of our faculty, staff, students, alumni, friends, programs – and the beautiful campus itself, and hope that you are too! As the College reputation soars, so does the impetus to go ever-higher. 

And now we look ahead to the incoming class who will join us this fall. As students accept our invitation of admission, we are all looking forward to the excitement that each new school year produces.
