Volunteer Leadership

Volunteer leaders play a critical role in ensuring the ongoing success of Ferrum College. They not only lend their considerable expertise, extensive personal and professional networks and valuable time but also make personal financial commitments to help shape the future of Ferrum College.

In the tradition of the College motto “Not Self, But Others,” our volunteer leaders value community involvement and participate in the life of the College because of their commitment to access to higher education, a desire to “give back,” or to build a tradition of leading by example for the next generation.

Under the direction of the Office of Institutional Advancement, members of the following volunteer boards serve as advocates and ambassadors, and help to promote awareness of and support for the College within the region, throughout Virginia and beyond.
