At Ferrum College, we believe that healthy, happy employees are the key to creating a thriving organization.

Wellness is the active pursuit to understand and fulfill your individual human needs—which allows you to reach a state where you are flourishing and able to realize your full potential in all aspects of life. Every person has wellness aspirations. Our employee wellness initiatives are designed to support participants in fulfilling their needs in seven areas.

Ferrum’s employee wellness program is made available to all Ferrum faculty and staff on a voluntary basis. As with all of our wellness initiatives, our mission is to create the conditions within which both organizational and personal wellbeing can thrive.

All employees and their spouses are encouraged to take an active role in taking good care of their health.  By engaging in a variety of activities, programs and services on campus and in the surrounding community throughout the year, we want to help make the healthy choice the easy choice. Together, we’ll create and sustain a culture that supports employee health, wellbeing and work-life balance.
