The Ferrum College Theatre Arts and Music Departments will present Man of La Mancha at 7 p.m. March 22-24, and March 25 at 2 p.m. in Sale Theatre on campus. Written by Dale Wasserman with music by Mitch Leigh and lyrics by Joe Darion, Man of La Mancha is inspired by Miguel de Cervantes’ seventeenth-century masterpiece Don Quixote. Celebrating the perseverance of a dying old man who refuses to relinquish his ideals or his passion, Man of La Mancha is one of the most successful musicals in Broadway history. The score includes the renowned “The Impossible Dream,” “I, Don Quixote,” “Dulcinea,” “I Really Like Him,” “Little Bird,” and “To Each His Dulcinea.”
Man of La Mancha tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for seniors and non-Ferrum College students, cash only at the door.
