John G. Kines, Jr. ’68, of Disputanta, has been appointed by Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe to the Virginia Board of Social Services. Kines has served in local government more than 35 years. He recently completed 12 years as a member of the Virginia Commission on Local Government.

Al Latimer ’77, of Apopka, FL, has published a novel, The Irregular Ordination of Preacher Jim.
