Hi there! I’m Trinity Welsh, class of 2016! I’m from a small town in North Carolina, similar to Ferrum…which I guess is why it always felt like home. I graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations. After graduation, I moved to Florida, where I began work for Froehlich Association Management, a 501c3. When I first started at Ferrum, I told my professors that I wanted to go to law school, so during my year off I am studying for the LSAT, and preparing to attend law school in the fall of 2017, following my move to Washington, DC with the company. Ferrum taught me more than I ever knew about life and what would come after graduation. Being immersed in a small school is a great way to learn a lot about yourself, but it also gives you an opportunity to learn thousands of lessons from faculty that you might not have expected. I will forever be grateful to my professors for teaching me to have courage, but to stay humble and kind (I’m also thankful for the little bumps that continue to remind me of those lessons!) Have fun being an Honors’ kid, and love every minute on the mountain!
