I graduated from Ferrum in Spring 2018. In addition to the Boone Honors Program, I was a member of the men’s soccer team, men’s tennis team, Delta Chi fraternity, and Phi Alpha Theta history honor society. My history senior seminar paper was entitled “The Commonwealth’s Passover: How Virginia’s Avoidance of Radical Republicanism Moved it Ahead of Other Southern States.”
After graduating with a history degree, I took a year off from school, traveling and working while saving money for grad school. I am currently at the University of North Carolina Wilmington getting my master’s in history. After my master’s, I plan on going on for my Ph.D. and teaching at the college level.
