About the Ferrum College Dean's List
The Dean's List of students whose grade point average is at least 3.4 out of a possible 4.0 is published at the end of the fall and spring semesters. A student must be full time to qualify for the Dean's List. The first time a student qualifies for the Dean's List, a certificate is mailed to that student with a specially dated seal for that semester. For subsequent semesters, the student receives additional seals to place upon the original certificate.In January a special dinner is held in honor of Dean’s List recipients for the Fall semester. The dinner is scheduled for Thursday, January 28, 2010 in the Blue Ridge Mountain Room. Dinner will begin at 5:30 in order that students with evening classes may attend the dinner as well.
