The Ferrum College Music Department is practicing for its annual Spring Concert, to take place on April 28, at 3:00 p.m. in Vaughn Chapel. The program will include the Concert Choir, the Chamber Choir and the Handbell Ensemble. Dr. Erma Rose will direct as Dr. Gary Evans accompanies. |
New to the repertoire of sacred works and light-hearted standards, will be an original composition by Evans. The piece is his personal, musical response to the September 11 tragedy. It is entitled Tears in the Eyes of the Eagle and will be performed by the Concert Choir. The afternoon of music will also feature, God of Grace, featuring the bass bells, a special arrangement, by James E. Connell. |
