The Class of 2001 purchased
a garden fountain as their parting gift to the Ferrum College campus.
Its temporary home is in front of the main entrance into Franklin Hall.
“The fountain’s
permanent home will be atop a pedestal on the patio of the garden to
be built outside the lower entrance into Subway,” says Wes Starkey,
president of the senior class. “We wanted to add to the beauty
of the garden so that we can enjoy the fountain when we return to campus
for visits,” he adds.
