Ragtimist Bob Milne, the top ragtime/boogie-woogie pianist in the country, will present the “Ragtime and the Roots of Gospel” concert at Ferrum College. The performance will be at 7:00 p.m. on February 20, in the College’s Vaughn Chapel.

Milne is a full-time touring artist, appearing on concert stages across the U.S. and Canada. Last fall, Bob completed another cross-country tour that took him from Boston to the West Coast and many points in between.

Milne delights the audience with his piano-playing “pyrotechnics” and with his infectious enthusiasm for the music and the history behind the music.

The concert is sponsored by Ferrum College and The Franklin Guild and is free and open to the public.

Ferrum College is a four-year, private, co-educational, liberal arts college affiliated with the United Methodist Church.  Ferrum offers a choice of nationally recognized bachelor’s degree programs at a cost well below the national average for private colleges.  To learn more about the College, call 1-800-868-9797 or visit www.ferrum.edu.
