          This is Dr. Boone’s 14th Commencement at Ferrum College.

          Ferrum College was accredited as a four-year college by the
            Southern Association of Colleges in 1976.

          Ferrum College is affiliated with the United Methodist Church.

          There are 36 majors, including Horticulture and Sports Management.

          Total enrollment- 913.

          Twenty-six states and 5 countries are represented in the student body.

          Ferrum was one of the first colleges in the nation to put a computer in every
            residence hall room at no extra charge to the students.
