The following students have been named to Ferrum College's Dean's
List for the Fall
2007 semester. Full-time students who receive at least a 3.4 grade
point average on the
4.0 scale during the academic semester qualify for Ferrum's Dean's
List.
The first time a student qualifies for the Dean's List, a certificate
is mailed to that student
with a specially dated seal for that semester. For subsequent semesters,
the student
receives additional seals to place upon the original certificate. At
the end of the fall
semester, typically, a special dinner is held in honor of Dean's List
recipients for that
semester. The dinner to recognize fall semester Dean's List students
is scheduled for
Wednesday, January 30, 2008 in the Blue Ridge Mountain Room. Dinner
will begin
at 5:30 in order that students with evening classes may attend the
dinner as well. At the
end of the spring semester, typically, Dean's List students are sent
a special
recognition gift from the Dean's Office instead of the recognition
dinner. Students
who qualify for the Dean's List for eight consecutive semesters are
typically honored in a
special way at their last Dean's List Dinner. Congratulations on a
job well done.
