Lake area residents will be able to take
advantage of unique art courses in oil and watercolor painting, drawing,
stained glass and digital photography offered by Ferrum College at
the nearby Smith Mountain Lake 4-H Center beginning in February, 2005.
All are taught by local artists and provide the same quality instruction
found on the Ferrum campus.
The following are the classes for Fall 2005, held
at the W. E. Skelton 4-H Educational Conference Center at Smith Mountain
Lake:
Painting (Oil) - Beginning and Intermediate with Jane Stogner

Registration is encouraged for the course and class size will be kept
deliberately small in order to ensure maximum individual instruction
and attention. The registration deadline for this course is May 1st.
The fee for the course is $175 which includes all instruction. For
