Final Spring Open House Scheduled For April 16th

     Ferrum College will hold an Admissions Open House for prospective students and their parents on Saturday, April 16, 2005. Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. and programs will run until 3:30p.m. Activities will include campus tours, student and parent information panels and various opportunities to talk with faculty concerning academic programs and more. An athletic information session will be held prior to registration at 10:00 a.m. Lunch will be provided by Ferrum College. All students are encouraged to take advantage of this program to learn more about what Ferrum has to offer.

      Open House programs offer opportunities to get a variety of information about Ferrum College. High School juniors and seniors, as well as transfer students are welcome to attend this event. The College’s $25.00 application fee will be waived to anyone who submits a completed application during the Open House.

      “We welcome all area college-bound seniors who are interested in the opportunities that a small, private college has to offer. We’ll have a lot of great information that any student or family needs when looking at the higher education investment,” adds Ferrum Director of Admissions, Gilda Woods.

      President Dr. Jennifer Braaten, faculty, staff, coaches and students will be available and prepared to answer any questions and share news of the academic, athletic, and student life programs at Ferrum. Students that attend Open House will be able to meet current Ferrum students and hear about their experiences first hand.
