The
Drama Department of Ferrum College will present the original works of
two seniors, Brooke Gill ’05 and Ashley White ’05 at 7:00 p.m. on February
18th and at 2:00 p.m. on February 20th. Both shows will be held in Sale
Theater. Admission is free, although donations of canned goods will
be accepted for the St. James Food Bank.
The two shows will portray the lives of the flamboyant “Mama” Cass Elliot, of the Mama’s and the Papa’s, and Susan Strasburg, the daughter of the noted “Method” acting coach, Lee Strasburg. Gill and White have researched and composed these original performances since the beginning of their senior year. While this has been a demanding experience, Brooke Gill quotes her high school drama teacher, “In theatre, it all seems to come together in the end, we don’t know why, it just does.” For further information, contact Rex Stephenson at (540) 365-4347 or rstephenson@ferrum.edu Ferrum College is a four-year, private, co-educational, liberal arts college affiliated with the United Methodist Church.
