Please join us in A Day of Remembrance and
Promise--a commemoration of Kristallnacht, a look at examples
of contemporary genocides, and a challenge to all of us: what we can
do to make a better world. There will be candle lighting at the end
of the commemoration. One candle will be lit in memory of Rosa Parks.
This is a multimedia presentation. Speaker: Charlie Crabtree, former student in Ferrum College's Holocaust course and Ferrum graduate, now teaching a Holocaust course at William Fleming High School Date: November 10, 2005 Place: Ferrum College, Panthers Den in Franklin Hall Time: 7:00 p.m. All are welcome.
