Ferrum College - The Ferrum Newsstand

Ferrum College was awarded the 2005 Community Service Award by the Community Partnership for Revitalization (CPR) for "providing leadership and volunteers throughout our community" and our commitment to sponsorship and leadership within CPR. The Public Relations Office at Ferrum serves on CPR's Promotions Committee and Public Relations Director Dean Browell has been elected to the CPR's board for 2006. The Office of Student Leadership & Engagement was also instrumental in establishing Ferrum College Appreciation Day in conjunction with the Promotions Committee in 2004 as an annual event held in Rocky Mount. This award also serves to recognize the many ways Ferrum's faculty, staff and students serve and uplift Rocky Mount, thereby contributing to its revitalization.
