to a dance and dance with Sunset Drive," said Tracy Holley, Assistant
Director of Alumni and Family Services.
This year’s Alumni Weekend will be especially
exciting as Ferrum prepares the most extensive renovations in nearly
fifty years of the college’s history. Braaten recently announced Ferrum’s
plans to undertake a set of major facility improvements due to be completed
in 2006. These ambitious construction projects will result in new and
improved facilities across campus in the first such comprehensive enhancement
of multiple areas of campus since the 1960’s. Roberts and Beckham Halls,
two buildings nearly as old as Ferrum itself and favorites of older
alumni will have their distinctive classic façade’s preserved while
receiving state-of-the-art upgrades inside.
