Open House at Ferrum College

OPEN HOUSE SCHEDULED FOR APRIL

March 2 , 2004

          Ferrum College will be holding an Admissions Open House for prospective students and parents on April 3. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. at Vaughn Chapel and programs run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.   Athletes interested in the NCAA Division III should plan to arrive at 9:00 a.m. to learn more about the athletic programs.  

            “We welcome all area college-bound seniors who are interested in the opportunities that a small, private college has to offer.   We'll have a lot of great information that any student and family needs when looking at the higher education investment,” said Gilda Woods, Director of Admissions.

            Tours of the Ferrum campus, student and parent information sessions, an academic department fair, and a complimentary lunch will be provided. Participants will have the opportunity to meet Ferrum faculty, students, administrators, admissions counselors and financial aid personnel. The College's $25.00 application fee will be waived for high school seniors and transfer students who turn in a completed application during Open House.
