National political correspondent and author Juan Williams will speak at Ferrum College to commemorate of the 50 th anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education . Williams will speak on Wednesday, March 10 at 7pm in Vaughn Chapel. |

Juan Williams is a senior correspondent of National Public Radio's “Morning Edition” and a political analyst with Fox News. He previously hosted “Talk of The Nation” for NPR. Williams previously wrote for over twenty years for The Washington Post , winning several awards. He has also received an Emmy for documentary writing. Williams has authored several books including Eyes on the Prize and his latest, This Far By Faith: Stories of the African American Religious Experience. Williams' acclaimed biography, Thurgood Marshall: American Revolutionary which will be reissued in 2004 with a new epilogue to celebrate the 50 th anniversary of the Supreme Court's historic Board vs. Brown decision. The President's commission selected Williams to be the keynote speaker at the Smithsonian Museum events to commemorate the Brown v. Board of Education anniversary in 2003. |
