Ferrum College’s John Arnold has been
offered a summer internship program at the Marine Corps Base (MCB)
Quantico in Quantico, VA.
Dr. Kenneth McCreedy, Professor of
Criminal Justice, said “Most Federal internships are difficult to
get and it is always a credit to a particular student when he/she
is accepted. The [MCB] is very selective and they require a vigorous
background and character investigation before allowing individuals
to participate.” Arnold is the second student at Ferrum College who
has been accepted as an intern.
“John Arnold is a good student. He
is a very patriotic American and has contributed immensely to school,
the community, and the country,” said Dr. Samuel Payne, Professor
of Political Science.
