In its sixteenth annual employee recognition banquet on April 21, 2003, Ferrum College honored 36 faculty and staff, whose combined service reflected more than 600 years of work for the school. In addition to service awards, three retirees were recognized at the dinner, which included a musical program by The Collegiates. Keynote speaker Dr. Jennifer L. Braaten, president of the College, praised the selfless and tireless contributions of the employees, who for years have exemplified the Ferrum’s motto, Not Self, But Others.
