Ferrum College was re-accredited as a four-year college by the Southern Association of Colleges in 2002.

Ferrum College is affiliated with the United Methodist Church.

There are 35 majors, including Horticulture and Sports Management.

Total enrollment- approx. 1,000.

Twenty-six states and 5 countries are represented in the student body.

Ferrum was one of the first colleges in the nation to put a computer in every residence hall room at no extra charge to the students.
