| September 11th Remembered at Ferrum in Special Service Ferrum College held a Service of Remembrance on Thursday, September 11 at the flagpole in the center of campus to provide a moment of prayer for peace in our world and for everyone who may have been affected by the tragedy of 9/11. Chaplain Wes Astin lead the service. At the gather the painting "Peace" by Ferrum student Amanda Tipton was dedicated by President Braaten.
