Ferrum graduate Kelly Webber will return to her alma mater on October 30, to perform for the campus and community. Webber, a warm lyric soprano, will perform a concert of favorites at 7:30 p.m. in Grousbeck Music Center’s Sigmon Recital Hall.

Webber, of Albuquerque, NM, will sing well-known selections by Kurt Weill and Leonard Bernstein, and arias Madame Butterfly, Carmen and La Boheme. Webber graduated from Ferrum College in 1999 with a degree in dramatic and theater arts. She will complete a master in music degree in May 2003. Cara Ellen Modisett, of Roanoke, will provide piano accompaniment. |
