Our new student, Mina Ayob, of Afghanistan, arrived on October 10 to begin her life as a full-time Ferrum student and Virginian. Mina will be with us for four years as part of the Ferrum outreach to Afghanistan. Sasha Saari, professor of Russian, played a critical role in the arrival of Mina, and will be helping her in her global transition. Look for the full story of Mina's journey from Afghanistan to Ferrum College soon. |
