| Folklife Photography Contest Reminder |

| Did you snap some great shots at the Blue Ridge Folklife Festival this year? Want to show them off, and see how your photography skills fare against regional amateurs? Your photos could be winners in the 3rd annual Blue Ridge Folklife Festival Photography contest. Photos taken on the day of the Festival can be submitted on November 1-2, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Ferrum College’s Stanley Library. The Roanoke Photography Club will judge the photos and all entries will be displayed in Stanley Library, November 4-8. Photo submission must be matted and framed and must be either five inches by seven inches or eight inches by ten inches in size. Categories are as follows: Community Adult, Community Youth, Ferrum Student, Ferrum Faculty/Staff and Professional Photographers. Ribbons will be given for first, second, and third place in each category, and where appropriate honorable mention and best in show. Select photo will be displayed in the Blue Ridge Institute and Museum. |
