The Performing & Visual Arts major allows the student to combine study in the visual arts, drama, dance, and music.  It is a good choice for people planning to be arts administrators, to pursue graduate study in arts therapy, or to take advantage of liberal arts opportunities.  Students interested in musical theatre should choose this major.

Required Courses:
Students design their own course of study within some very broad guidelines.  They complete 30 hours in one arts discipline and 24 hours in one or more different disciplines.  They take at least one course in each of three different arts areas and distribute their courses among performance, literature or history, and theory or technique courses.

Brief Message from the Coordinator:
Please call or write if you are interested in combining visual arts, dance, drama, and music into a major that you design.
