The French program at Ferrum College provides a course of studies designed to give students fluency in oral and written communication, ability to read, understand and analyze literature, and appreciation of the culture of French-speaking countries. French classes also prepare students for travel and study abroad, for careers in international business and in government, for professions involving French, and for graduate work.
