The drama program has a strong academic emphasis with students receiving
experience to reinforce the course work through productions, large
and small. The program, emphasizing process drama, gives students
opportunities to develop competency as performers, audience members,
historians, technicians, theorists, and teachers. The program offers
various disciplines within dramatic and theatre arts: educational
theatre, production, creative drama, and theatre management. Students
can participate in the nationally known touring group - the Jack Tale
Players - and audition for the Blue Ridge Dinner Theatre.
