Dr. Byrd is Assistant Professor of Agriculture and the Life Science Division Chair. He has served Ferrum College since 2000.
His teaching areas include plant and weed science as well as crop management. His research interests focus on plant-environmental relationships, particularly in the area of the efficient use of resources by crop and pasture plants.
