Laboratory Supervisor

Carol is the Laboratory Supervisor for the Life Sciences division. She has served Ferrum College since 1996.
Ms. Love is involved in many aspects of the Life Sciences division programs. She sets up labs, orders supplies, keeps inventories, and supervises work-study students. During the summer, she supervises the Smith Mountain Lake Water Quality Program. She has extensive research lab experience involving control element mutations in fruit flies and has current interests in antibiotic resistance analysis to determine sources of indicator species of bacteria in water.
